KVCA COMMITTEES

Operating Rules for KVCA Committees:

• The Committee shall notify the Board of Directors of any escalated issues or situations that require immediate attention.
• By March 30 of each year, the Committee shall provide the Board of Directors with the project plan and budget request for the upcoming fiscal year.
• The Committee will receive approval of budget after approved by the membership at the KVCA AGM
• The Committee will receive approval of projects after approval by the land owner and approval by the membership at the KVCA AGM.
• The Committee Chairperson may authorize expenditure of KVCA funds up to the amount approved in the fiscal year's budget.
• All expenditures including valid receipts must be presented to the KVCA Treasurer for approval and payment.
• The Board must be immediately notified of any anticipated expenditure over the budgeted amount such that proper review and approval processes may be initiated.
• The Committee shall provide, at least, a quarterly report to the Board of Directors of the Committee's efforts, progress, and issues.
• Quarterly Committee reports shall be included in the Board of Directors' Meeting minutes.  An annual summary report shall be presented at the Annual General Meeting.
